Inspired by student activism across the country, SBCC students organized and drafted a Constitution for a new Association that would amplify their voice and advocate for their interests.

Thus, the Associated Student Government was born.

Filled with optimism and excitement, what would this new government do?

For decades, the ASG has been the very cornerstone of our student body.

ASG Officers and Senators have worked passionately And Tirelessly each and Every year to enrich SBCC socially, academically, politically, and culturally and to represent the student’s perspective on all issues big and small.

The ASG has always remained on the forefront to help build and maintain the #1 community college in the world.

And we don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
